The Rohrssen Road Bridge over Poplar Creek was built in 1958 and has served Hanover Township for more than 65 years. Recent inspections have found the bridge to be in serious condition, with significant deterioration in the concrete beams.

Concrete has broken away from the beam, exposing multiple strands of steel, which is a sign of more advanced structural deterioration.
Cracks along the surface of the bridge deck show ongoing wear and allow water to seep in, which can lead to further damage over time.
